The immersion program will help you get a solid foundation in Tango quickly and prepare you to move around the dance floor at a Milonga.

 

 

Performance Tango

 

Classes offered for all levels:

Argentine Tango Beginner

Covers correct posture, floor craft, connection in close embrace, walks, and basic elements: ochos, peradas, molenetas and ganchos.
It prepares you for Milonga (Argentine Tango dances).

If you're a dancer who hasn't danced Tango at all, this is your chance to learn the basics without developing bad habits that have to be "undone."

Nuevo Milongero style of Argentine Tango Intermediate

Milongero style tango is the version of Tango danced in a close embrace in clubs in Argentina.
Nuevo style's embrace is elastic and breathes allowing the dancers to suspend away or to come close as required by the figure. Combined together, Nuevo and Milongero styles provide a wonderful balance of closeness that requires a refined and aware lead in close embrace and yet opens possibilities for intricate figures that can't be done in close embrace. This allows a couple to create and share the intimacy of the close embrace, and also the energy and passion that is available in the nuevo figures-like sacadas. volcadas and colgadas.

This class gives students opportunities to perform, if they wish, and much more.
It also gives you choreography sequences with more showy elements, for enhancement of social Tango and to increased improvisational skills.
This is a fun class that explores advanced concepts and artistry of Tango. This class moves your dancing forward at rocket speed.
